What Will I Study?

How Will I Be Assessed?

  • Two written exams covering theory (e.g. anatomy, skill acquisition, socio-cultural studies).
  • One practical assessment in your chosen sport (as a player or coach).
  • A written performance analysis task.
  • Final format depends on the chosen exam board (AQA, OCR or Edexcel — to be confirmed).

 

Entry Requirements Five or more GCSEs at grade 9–5. Grade 5 or higher in English, Science and PE (if taken). You must participate regularly in a sport (individual or team) outside of school or college.
