Finance Officer

Full Time, Permanent

Salary H8 £29,950- 1.00 FTE, full-time (36 hours per week)

We are seeking to appoint an experienced can-do Finance Officer who will have responsibility for the efficient and secure administration of the Academies finances on a day-to-day basis, reporting to and in liaison with the Finance and Funding Manager. 

Previous experience of Academy finance would be advantageous, but is not essential. The Academy uses Civica’s financial software Resource 32000, training will be provided, if necessary.

The Academy’s financial year runs from 1st September – 31st August, it is therefore expected that the post holder will be available to work during the summer holidays, particularly in August; exact dates to be negotiated and agreed with the Finance and Funding Manager.

Applicants will need to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail as well as use their excellent communication skills and their ability to build good working relationships

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, a flexible approach to working as part of a team as well as the ability to be able to work on his or her own initiative in a professional manner and have excellent attention to detail.
