#TeamHaringey6 have had some amazing things on this week

To start the week off...

#TeamHaringey6 Level 3 Year 2 Uniformed Protective Services, Level 2 Public Services and Level 2 Sport; embarked on a Trip to Stubbers Adventure Centre, Upminster. We had an early start to the day!

For the students course they all had a unit that was based around participation in adventurous activities and or expeditions where learners will have to plan, participate and review participation in multiple adventurous activities.

Our learners had to face their fears, challenge themselves and something new. Learners participated in 5 different challenging and exciting  activities. And our H6 students did not disappoint!

Leap of faith: where we heard loads of screaming as learners had to climb to the top of the climbing pole and jump off with a leap of faith

Caving: learners had to crawl and wriggle through the dark narrow caves to find light at the end of the tunnel

Vertical obstacle course: learners had to race to the top of the course in the air to become the best of the best and 2 target sports where learners had to focus on accuracy, tactics and team work.

#H6 learners displayed resilience, confidence, fantastic leadership and teamwork skills. I am very proud of all learners that attended and actually throughout the day I could see a few would be fantastic in the outdoor education industry as they were encouraging and supportive throughout the day.

A massive thank you for Stubbers, they made this a day for our learners one they will always remember.
