Disability & Learning Support
We are a totally inclusive learning College so we welcome students from all abilities and backgrounds. The College is accessible to suit the needs for people with mobility disabilities and we can provide extra support such as a signer at interviews.
Haringey Sixth Form recognises our responsibility to promote equality in education for all of our learners. We have excellent facilities and specialist help not only for students within our Entry and Foundation faculty but also for those studying within the mainstream departments.
If you have a disability please let us know when you fill in the application form also listing any additional help you require. Before your interview you will be assessed by someone in our learning support team so we are aware of any additional support you will need once you enrol so this can be put into place for you.
Our learning support team can provide:
- help with English and Maths
- Dyslexia support
- help with English if it is not your first language
- special equipment
- signers and communicators
- exam concessions
- personal care and health issues
- in-class and out-of-class support
- one-to-one support
