#TeamHaringey6 Food Bank Collection
Today #TeamHaringey6 Public services students are collecting food for our local bank to help individuals and families in our community especially those who are living in poverty and has been effected by Covid-19.
Our #H6 students will benefit as it teaches them about Organising, leadership, teamwork, meeting new people and being more aware of what a food bank is and who and how it helps people.
To get involved we need you to donate food and spread the work of our collection- things you could bring in the following:
Cereal, pasta, rice canned foods, long life milk, washing up liquid, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar, feminine hygiene products (sanity towels and tampons), toothpaste, shampoo, soap, deodorant. Remember many of these items cost less than £1, it might not be a lot of money for us but for those families it could make their day. Here is what we have collected so far!
The main challenges will be getting people to donate or remember to donate so #TeamHaringey6 are spreading the word!
