Offers coming thick and fast for H6FC’s Russell Group Forum students
Our second year students have a year and a half’s hard work behind them, and the reward for this hard work is starting to show as offers rush in from Russell Group universities. Just two weeks after the UCAS deadline passed, there have already been nineteen offers for places at Russell Group universities, with more hopefully on the way.
Some of these offers have already been with lower grade requirements for incredibly competitive courses, based on students’ participation in university access schemes or the quality of their applications.
From left to right, these students are:
Laura Morales, who so far has offers from both Nottingham and King’s College London, and took part on the K+ programme which means she has an offer of A*BB/AAB in place of the usual A*AA for Economics
Nusrat Jahan, who has an offer of AAB to study Biomedical Sciences at Queen Mary, University of London
Brian McAuslan, an aspiring History student, who also took part in the K+ programme as well as the LSE Choice programme at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and so far has been offered reduced grades of AAB at King’s, and ABB at Queen Mary
Sherfina Odumanye, whose CV was packed with work experience and wider reading, and has so far been offered places to study Law at Exeter (AAB) and Liverpool (ABB)
