Reflecting on the end of our last term
#TeamHaringey6 had an amazing end to the winter term as we celebrated students’ successes by having a Student Award Ceremony to celebrate the incredible achievements of our students, recognising all achievers from across the range of vocational courses at #H6.
While every student’s story is unique, they all share some important traits, those of commitment, endeavor and character. Upholding the college values of excellence in everything we do; respect and a can do will do attitude.
We are so proud of all our students seeing them blossoming through their time here, transforming into confident and engaging members of the community. There are inspirational young people, some have overcome incredible adversity. They all have not only succeeded but have excelled in their work and will do as they progress through life. But the roots of their success are found in the support provided by their families, friends and the incredible staff at H6. Many of the students would not be sitting here today without the unrivalled support and dedication of their tutors.
While this is the culmination of a great deal of hard work for our students, it is just the beginning of their adventures. Carry on being excellent in everything you do.
Russ Lawrance CEO said:
‘These awards are amazing. These were so reflective of what goes on here day to day at Haringey Sixth Form College. The recognition reflects our amazing students' fantastic contribution, excellence and effort. These awards epitomise our values especially the aim for excellence in everything we do. They also act as a tremendous boost for all our students to strive and excel higher and aim for even bigger accomplishments in college and then in life. For me, at this current time these awards are so important, a real recognition of talent, effort and in many cases the highest of achievements. So proud of #Teamharingey6 for setting these up and so proud of all our students and the staff that support to excel in such challenging times.’
