Public Services Enhance skills at stubbers
On Wednesday 15th March 2017 Level 2 Public Service Students went on a day Trip to Stubbers Adventure Activity Centre as part of their Unit 15: Expedition Skills for public services. On this trip our students were developing their public service skills such as teamwork, communication, problem solving and leadership skills through various challenging activities where our students encouraged, coached and guided one another and on top of all this had loads of fun!
‘To see our students learn new skills, work together and have a laugh, really did make this trip memorable! An amazing day out!’ - Codi Murray (Trainee Teacher and Learning Mentor)
‘This trip has really given me a new experience, I have had so much fun completing challenges and activities I never thought I would ever do! Can we please go back at the end of the year?’ – Level 2 Public Service Students.
Russ Lawrance, Principal Haringey Sixth Form College commented “What a fantastic experience for our students visit to Stubbers Adventure Centre allowed the students to gain so many skills that are not necessarily learnt in the classroom. I know that the students thoroughly enjoyed themselves and will only go on to benefit them in their course and in the future.”
