A-level Graduation & Opening Innovation Centre - Principals Christmas Reception

We were delighted to hold our inaugural Principals Christmas Reception on Tuesday 18th December 2018, which included officially opening our Innovation Centre and celebrating the successes of our A-Level Alumni students.

We began the evening with a short speech from the Principal & CEO Russ Lawrance, and the official cutting of the ribbon by Lisa Westray our Vice Principal and Dave Wyatt Chair of Governors who were instrumental in the development and build of this state of art tech rich Innovation Centre, which students love and is already inspiring and motivating their learning.

The student celebration followed presentation of the A-level certificates by Richard Clinch, Assistant Director of Academia & STEM, Tola Ariyo, a double law Graduate, former student from 2011 and now College Governor and Dave Wyatt.

At the Vocational Graduation in the summer we introduced a special ceremony ‘H6 six C’s’ in line with our college values – Committed, Courageous, Caring, Can do/Will do and Creative, culminating in the Principals Award for Student of the Year which was awarded to Samiha Chowdhury.
