Visit to Higher Education Fair at Middlesex University
On Friday 3rd March 2017 35 BTEC L3 yr 1 Extended Diploma students from Health and Social Care and Public Services went to the North London Higher Education Fair at Middlesex University. The students had the chance to talk to a wealth of universities and attend talks on a variety of subjects.
Helin Aksu said "it was a great opportunity to be part of this trip to get a chance to talk to different universities and gather information to help us make decisions about our future".
Kwaigor Mammy and Halima Mumin said "the trip has given us a good understanding of universities and uni life. It has given us an insight into lectures and how uni life is like. We had a great experience. All students and staff enjoyed the trip and has opened up discussion about their futures.
Russ Lawrance, Principal of Haringey Sixth Form College added “I am pleased that the staff at the College continue to go the extra mile with their students. Higher Education fairs and events are an excellent opportunity for prospective students to meet university representatives, discuss issues about degree programmes and university life and pick up prospectuses and other information about Higher Education institutions. Another great example of how we at Haringey Sixth Form College prepare students for life beyond college”.
