Generating Genius' at Haringey Sixth Form College
Four of our exceptionally talented students from the Russell Group and Oxbridge Forum attended their first meeting for the Generating Genius programme on Thursday 24th November.
This highly selective scheme, which aims to broaden and support STEM aspirations, has selected 50 young people to work with throughout the course of Years 12 and 13. These students will receive mentoring, expert tutoring from current Undergraduates and the opportunity to undertake a weeks’ work placement at a prestigious STEM company such as Barclays or Google.
At the event the students were introduced to the charity’s founder Dr Tony Sewell CBE as well as various alumni from the charity’s history.
