#TeamHaringey6 Celebrates Women's Day
#TeamHaringey6 has arranged for a very special event to take place on Wednesday 26th May @ 4pm-7pm, at our college; Celebrating Women's Day.
This event is an opportunity for all the young woman of #TeamHaringey6 to come together and connect in a motivational and inspiring environment through a fun workout, food and inspirational talks that share insights into entrepreneurship, importance of mental health, fitness and well-being.
The event will start in our Courtyard with a resistance band booty burn and core blast tutorial class with a DJ set; after the group exercise there will be refreshments served in the Hive to get everyone re-energised.
In the lecture theatre there will be some motivational talks from some guest speakers such as;
Shauna O’Brien: An author, spoken word poet and recording artist. Shanua will be sharing her Life Journey and and experience with mental health.
Shannette Ellington: A fitness professional and also one of our Trustees will share her experience of how Fitness saved her life.
Principal Lisa Westray shares her vision for the young women and her journey in the educational field.
There will be a raffle prize draw and goody bags given away to all attendees.
The mission for this event is to motivate one another in becoming better versions of themselves sharing experiences that can prepare us for life outside of college.
