Coaching, Development and Fitness BTEC Level 3
Level 3 BTEC Sport introduces candidates to sport science in a practical way. Students study physiology, fitness and coaching, amongst other.
You will study:
- Physiology of fitness
- Principles of anatomy
- Assessing risk in sport
- Fitness training and programming
- Sports coaching
- Sports development
Where it leads:
Entry into Higher Education (Sports Science, Sports Therapy, and Sport Studies) Foundation Degree in Sport, Active IQ Personal Training Course and/or Employment in the Sport and Leisure Industry.
Four GCSEs 9-4 including grade 5 (or C) for English or Maths depending on the course or Level 2 Diploma at Merit or Distinction and GCSE grade 5 (or C) in English or Maths.
