Life & Living Skills - Entry Level 2 OCR
Our Entry Level 2 course is aimed at students with learning difficulties and disabilities and/or on the autistic spectrum who wish to improve their personal, social development and employment skills between the ages of 16-19.
This qualification covers topics including English and maths, drama, enterprise activities, cooking, sports and ICT. Students will also have an opportunity to develop their employability and social skills via work experience and/or work-related learning opportunities with Mencap or Action for Kids.
Prospective candidates, should be working at or near Entry Level 2 for basic skills including communication, literacy and numeracy. You will need an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and priority is given to Year 11 students, based in Haringey, from our Special Schools Riverside, The Vale and Heartlands.
Where it leads:
At the end of your course, you may progress to the Entry Level three course within the department or attend another college or specialist provision.
