#TeamHaringey6 A-Level students Update on appeals or no appeals!

Again, well done to each and every one of you. Remember the main aim is to ensure you have the appropriate destination of your choice, and for the majority, this means going to university.

A grade does not define you let alone do justice to you amazing students.

Lisa has set up a dedicated email address for you to pose any questions and ask for support - results@haringey6.ac.uk
I prepared a set of information for you all with examples of how the appeals system would work on Saturday night.
I woke up on Sunday morning to this...
The exams regulator is reviewing its guidance on how to appeal against A-Level and GCSE grades using mock exam results - hours after publishing it.
On Saturday, Ofqual set out what constituted a "valid" mock exam for students appealing against A-level results in England. We prepared the following as we wanted to get onto this asap for you our students.
But the regulator has now suspended that criteria, and further information will be published "in due course".
I know this is not easy but you know it’s important to be pro-active and not wait and hope things might change use the email set up above, we will get you the best outcome we possibly can you know that.

I will keep you informed on the facts not on what might be. Speculation and pontification will not help anyone’s mind set. Keeping in touch will.

Stay strong remember you are amazing.

Regards,
