St Bons hit a three then the sixers turned it over on the inbounds, which then lead to a foul and two shots for St Bons. The young St Bons player who is in year 11 missed two clutch free throws. To give Haringey Sixers a nail biting victory in their first ABL game.
Coach Perry Lawson said ‘We showed a lot of character in this game to come back from such a big deficit. To regain the lead at a very crucial time in the game. It would have been a tough loss for them to swallow knowing they had two shots to win it. But hey that’s the beauty of basketball and that’s why we love this game.’
