At Haringey Sixth Form Centre we are committed to your success. We have high expectations for all our students, with an emphasis on excellence and achievement.

There are entry requirements for many of our courses, but every application will be considered on its merit. Haringey Sixth Form Centre is dedicated to working with the full ability range of local young people.  Whether you are a high achieving student or require extra support with your studies, you will find courses to suit your interests and needs at the Centre.

 2. A wide curriculum offer

We offer 28 AS/A2 level subjects and our vocational qualifications start from Level 1 and go up to Level 3, giving you the necessary building blocks to progress in your education.  All of our subjects are designed to help you progress to either University or employment.  Students get the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge by being placed on a structured learning programme.

We are different from school and we are different from a Further Education College.

We are the only centre in Haringey dedicated to offering full-time courses for 16-19 year olds.You'll be treated like an adult but offered all the support you need to ensure you succeed.

4. Our specialist staff

Our highly qualified and enthusiastic staff encourage and support all of our learners.  The Centre has built up a team of staff that are committed to ensuring students achieve as much as they can.  Teachers have a high level of specialist subject knowledge and set very specific and individualised targets and support students to achieve these.

Just a few minutes walk from White Hart Lane station and Tottenham High Road, the campus is located on White Hart Lane, a key route through Tottenham, so it is easy to reach from all corners of the borough and across London.

6. Inclusive centre

We are a totally inclusive learning Centre, so we welcome students from all abilities and backgrounds.  The Centre is accessible to suit the needs of people with mobility disabilities and we can provide a signer at interviews.  Once you have enrolled we will continue to provide in-class support. 

 7. It's safe

Every student is made aware of the behaviour expected of them through the Code of Conduct.  Staff and students can only gain access to the Centre by using their photo ID which they must carry with them at all times and our security system provides reassurance for everyone.

8. Student involvement

Our students are the life of the Centre, so your opinions are important to us. We have an active Student Council who have participated in organising social events such as our Diversity Day celebrations.  The Council members are elected by their peers and meet regularly with a member of the Senior Management Team to express ideas and concerns of their fellow students.  We also have student representatives on the Governing Body.

The Centre offers state of the art facilities that provide you with everything you need to achieve in your studies.  The Centre is zoned to provide specialist facilities for each area of the curriculum.

10.  Parental/carers involvement

We understand the importance of providing regular information on attendance and progress to parents and carers.  We hold Parents Evenings throughout the year and you are welcome to contact us at any time to discuss your son's/daughter's progress.
